Job summary

Mejuri in Connecticut is hiring a Seasonal Stylist to be the first point of contact for customers, creating a warm, inviting in-store experience while staying current on fashion trends and educating shoppers on Mejuri products. You will embody the Mejuri brand and support merchandising, operations, and customer service initiatives.

The role runs August 17 through October 10 to support until January 22, 2026, with base pay of $18–$20 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and validate the quality of the in-store customer experience by communicating, training, and upholding expectations on the team on Mejuri’s Steps of Selling.
• Ensure positive customer experience and promotion of services offerings including piercing, engraving, and other offerings.
• Participate in back of house flow to support in-store sales, phone sales or BOPIS, ensuring efficiency with packaging and order delivery standards.
• Maintain organizational integrity of BOH up to display inventory and sellable inventory, packaging, and all supplies.
• Learn and use point-of-sale systems and retail technology.
• Supports in mitigating internal, external and administrative loss of product.
• Identify and elevate opportunities, gaps, risks and roadblocks to store leadership.
• Ensure Mejuri brand standards of visual presentation, cleanliness and functionality are upheld.
• Validate the integrity of display forms, graphics, furniture, and decor items.
• Flag, identify and action any inefficiencies.
• Engage with teammates to build a positive work environment.
• Adhere to policies compliance practices.

Mejuri is heading into its busiest time of year and looking for seasonal support to join our team! As a Seasonal Stylist, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, and first impressions are everything. You'll create a warm, inviting experience that feels like shopping with your best friend-staying current on fashion trends, educating customers on our products, and inspiring them to try something new. You're a role model of Mejuri's brand vision and values, both with your team and with every customer you meet. We are hiring August 17th through October 10th to support until January 22nd, 2026.

The Role:

Customer:

• STACK: Lead by example and validate the quality of the in-store customer experience by communicating, training, and upholding expectations on the team on Mejuri’s Steps of Selling.
• Services: Ensure positive customer experience and promotion of services offerings including piercing, engraving, and other offerings.
• KPIs: OPH, SPH, NPS (85%<)

Operations:

• Order Fulfillment: Participate as needed the back of house flow to support in-store sales, phone sales or BOPIS, ensuring efficiency with packaging and order delivery standards.
• Storage & Organization: Support in maintaining organizational integrity of our BOH up to and including display inventory and sellable inventory, packaging, and all supplies.
• Systems & Technology: Experience using or possesses the ****ability to learn to use point-of-sale systems and other retail technology.
• Shrink: Supports in mitigating internal, external and administrative loss of product.
• Escalations: Participate in Identify and elevate opportunities, gaps, risks and roadblocks to store leadership.

Merchandising:

• Merchandising. Support in ensuring that Mejuri brand standards of visual presentation, cleanliness and functionality are upheld
• Fixtures & Maintenance. Support with validating the integrity of all display forms, graphics, furniture, and decor items to manage costs and propel the brand, notifying appropriate teams when display tools are missing or damaged.
• Escalations: Flag, identify and action any inefficiencies

People:

• Engaging: Build healthy relationships with our people and establish a positive and engaging work environment.

Looking for the perfect next opportunity is a big decision. This role currently has a base pay range of $18 - $20 per hour based on a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
