Job summary

Bloomingdale’s is seeking Seasonal Sales Professionals in New York to guide customers in creating a personal style and joyful shopping experience. You will engage with shoppers, explain loyalty programs, and help maintain smooth store operations from greeting to checkout.

This role emphasizes warmth, product knowledge, and a hands-on approach on the sales floor. Ideal candidates are ready to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy.
• Deliver the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through conversation, welcoming and engagement.
• Circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, and explain loyalty program benefits.
• Support the shopping experience from start to finish and maintain operational excellence with store fulfillment systems and floor upkeep.
