Job summary

Shutterfly’s JCPenney Portrait Team in Lafayette, IN is hiring Seasonal Part-Time Team Members. Earn $15.00 per hour while helping families capture memories. You’ll receive paid photography and sales training, enjoy flexible schedules, and a fun working environment with store and studio discounts.

No prior experience required, all are welcome to apply. In this role you’ll take photos for diverse customers, complete the sales process, schedule sessions, and ensure a smooth, positive customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Previous retail, sales, or photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with children and adults.
• Basic math and computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry).
• No experience necessary!

Responsibilities

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed the customers' expectations.
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
• Provide a wonderful customer experience from start to finish.
