Job summary

The City of Bethel is seeking a Streets and Roads Operator-Driver for a seasonal position in Alaska, May 1 to Oct 31. You will operate construction equipment and vehicles and perform routine maintenance on the equipment, supporting other Public Works tasks as needed.

A Class A CDL is required, and you must meet USDOT/FMCSA pre-employment requirements before handling safety-sensitive duties or City vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years' experience operating construction equipment.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment and vehicles and perform routine maintenance on the equipment.
• Support City's CDL-driving functions and may operate DOT vehicles for other Public Works tasks.
