Job summary

Buckle in Mebane, NC is seeking a Store Support Teammate to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests. You will greet guests, assist with transactions, and keep the store neat while following Buckle's policies.

This part-time, on-site role offers flexible scheduling around holidays and events, with opportunities for training and participation in team initiatives, plus benefits such as teammate discounts and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store needs.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the POS software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays (up to ten feet high), organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Consistently maintain a clean, organized and shoppable store to fulfill Buckle’s mission statement.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Fulfill mission statement by performing duties with high Guest service and contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
