Job summary

Go! Retail Group is seeking a seasonal part-time store associate to open and close the store, assist customers, manage sales, and keep the store organized.

You will greet customers, process transactions with the POS system, handle promotions, restock, and maintain merchandising standards. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is required; benefits include 401K retirement plan, employee discount, and a flexible schedule.

• One year of retail experience (or experience related in this field).

• Create an exciting shopping experience by staying connected with the customer needs.
• Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft Office.
• Able to perform basic math functions.
• Flexible and strives in fast paced environment.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer on entry and assist with sales.
• Operate the Point of Sale system accurately and process promotions.
• Provide brand-appropriate service using calendars.com and in-store orders.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and organize the store.
• Receive and place new shipments and reset features and promotions.
• Open and/or close the store as scheduled and manage nightly cash deposits.
