Job summary

Buckle in Hickory, NC is seeking a Part-Time Store Support Teammate to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. You will assist with daily sales support tasks, greet customers, operate the POS, and help keep the store organized and welcoming.

This role involves flexible scheduling, weekend availability, and cooperation with the Store Manager and Visual Merchandiser on displays and promotions.

Qualifications

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the POS and bagging purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of sales, promotions, policies and security practices.
• Monitor security risks and theft and handle situations appropriately.
• Assist Operations Manager/Visual Merchandiser with displays and merchandising.
• Keep the store clean, organized and shoppable.
• Understand Buckle’s Code of Ethics and policies.
• Fulfill duties with a high level of Guest service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and answer questions about store and merchandise.
• Process guest transactions at POS and bag purchases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, payments, exchanges and security.
• Support merchandising tasks and display preparation within height limits.
• Help keep the store clean, organized and welcoming for Guests.
• Adhere to Buckle policies and code of ethics; support a positive team spirit.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
