Eastern National is seeking a part-time seasonal Store Associate at Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, PA. The role supports daily store operations, assists visitors, and helps maintain an inviting retail space during the seasonal period.

Qualifications

• Operate the cash register by processing tenders and keeping records.
• Restock the sales floor following merchandising guidelines; lift boxes up to 35 pounds.
• Assist visitors with product selection and offer complementary products.
• Navigate complex topics with sensitivity and respect.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance; work weekends.
• Work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
• May open and close the store independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register by processing appropriate tenders and maintaining accurate cash register records.
• Restock the sales floor while following visual merchandising guidelines and help create visual displays. This includes lifting boxes weighing up to 35 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet and may require standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting, and reaching.
• Assist visitors with product selection and offer complementary products.
• Navigate complex topics with sensitivity and respect.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
• May open and close the store independently.
