Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Allen, TX is seeking a Stock Clerk to receive shipments, maintain accurate inventory, and replenish the sales floor. You will scan deliveries, ticket and stock merchandise, and keep the stockroom organized and safe.

This role supports the sales team during peak periods, adheres to company policies, and helps minimize loss. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in stockroom or customer service, and can lift up to 75 pounds with open weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Open availability for full-time; weekends required for Flex.
• Basic product knowledge preferred but not required.
• Effective time management to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipment as delivered and log inventory.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories and stock merchandise on appropriate shelves or in offsite locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Ensure merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, logged, and easily located for replenishment.
• Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries.
• Transport merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure the stockroom is clean and organized; support sales floor during peak times.
• Complete tasks listed on daily agenda; comply with all company policies.
