Job summary

Meijer is looking for a Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and assist customers with product knowledge. You will stock shelves, move products, and assist with merchandising to ensure an engaging shopping experience.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with leadership to complete tasks. Overnight shifts are available, with scheduling flexibility and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Comfort with basic technology and following store procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability on busy days with flexible scheduling.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery items.
• Move products from pallets to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cartons and trash in back areas.
• Work with leadership to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.
