Job summary

REI in Sumner, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will pick and place items, receive inventory, price mark, pack customer orders, and prepare bikes for assembly, contributing to a fast-paced, outdoors-focused environment.

No warehouse experience is required; we value flexibility across departments, safety and efficiency, and offer a strong benefits package and an employee discount. Schedule is Mon-Thu, 3:30pm–2:00am.

Overview

The Warehouse Associate is an integral part of our team’s success. In this role you could be tasked with picking and putting items in a(n) appropriate location, receiving inventory, price marking, splitting, shipping, packing customer orders, handling cardboard and waste for the team efficiency, and preparing bikes for assembly. If you love a fun, fast-paced work environment, this role is for you!

The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Able to lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.
• Able to work standing or walking on concrete floors for 8-12 hour shifts.
• Works efficiently and safely by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work.
