Job summary

World Market is joining our seasonal team to bring world-inspired home décor, furniture, gifts and international foods to life. You’ll help create a fun, memorable shopping experience for customers while upholding merchandising standards and stockroom organization.

No prior retail experience is required, but a can-do attitude, strong communication, and reliability are highly valued. Must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 40 lbs. Benefits information available on request.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to initiate conversations with customers.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and unload trucks.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Maintain an organized stockroom.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.
• Checkout customers in-store and handle buy-online-pickup-in-store when needed.
• Share passion and product knowledge with customers to help find the right item.
