We are currently recruiting for a Seasonal Spa Therapist at at L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

This Seasonal role will run between June 2025 - January 2026.

The 4 AA Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is situated in the scenic location of St. Brelade’s Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in Jersey. With 106 bedrooms The Grill restaurant offering panoramic ocean views, L'Horizon is the ideal setting for a romantic getaway or even an idyllic coastal wedding.

One of the highlights of this boutique beachside hotel in Jersey is the spa, including six treatment rooms, a relaxation area, a pedicure and manicure area and a sleep room.

About the Role

• As a Spa Therapist, you will help support the success of your team, feeling engaged and ready to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
• You will be expected to demonstrate that you can deliver outstanding Spa treatments and develop your knowledge to ensure you feel confident in delivering positive recommendations for our guests.
• Mindfulness and well-being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind.
• Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

About you:

• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, working in a luxury 4/5 star Hotel Spa environment is required for this role.
• It is essential you have current UK beauty therapy level 3 qualifications, and are confident in demonstrating these skills, able to carry out all treatments including facials, massage, nail and feet treatments including gel nail application.
• Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.
• You will be excellent at building a rapport with guests making them feel at home, relaxed and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
• Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.

Company Benefits

• A competitive salary package of £14.83 per hour plus commission on treatments and retail sales (on average £300 per month). With the potential your take home amount is higher due to the lower tax in Jersey (around 11%)
• Live in Accommodation charged at £62.50 per week inclusive of all meals and bills.
• This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, which may vary depending on business needs.
• Pro rata equivalent of 29 holidays per annum.
