Qualifications

• Completion of RN program is required.
• 1 year of recent ICU experience or KP-approved Critical Care course within the last 12 months.
• California Registered Nurse license required (RN).
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Lead the healthcare team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Develop and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of nursing processes.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver customer service standards.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Mentor and orient staff in unit operations.

Requirements
