Job summary

Yellowstone Club, located in Big Sky, MT, is seeking a Snowsports Instructor for the upcoming winter season. The role is seasonal and part-time, with employment months from November through April.

Instruct skiing lessons to Members and guests, delivering a high level of guest service within the Snowsports School and PSIA/AASI guidelines. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of teaching/coaching experience, and PSIA/AASI certifications (Level I or higher).

Qualifications

• One year of creditable teaching and/or coaching experience in snowsports or related field.
• Current Level I PSIA/AASI or equivalent.
• Current Level II PSIA/AASI with Children’s Specialist I preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate ski concepts in a safe, fun, and professional manner using teaching methods tailored to each student.
• Set lesson plans based on Members' and guests' needs.
• Summarize each lesson with the member, guest, or parents, reviewing skills and progress.
