Job summary

Alterra is seeking a part-time seasonal worker for snow removal at Winter Park Resort. The role requires early-morning shifts using shovels and snowblowers to clear walkways, entrances, and roofs. You must be capable of lifting 30-50 lbs, withstand sub-zero temperatures, and work independently as part of a team.

Applicants should have reliable transportation, be 18+, and commit to the winter season. The position offers benefits typical of resort employment and requires punctuality for 2am calls.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable personal transportation for early morning calls.
• Be in good physical condition and able to lift 30-50 lbs repetitively.
• Operate snow blower and perform strenuous outdoor labor.

Responsibilities

• Snow removal by hand or snow blower around decks, stairs, roofs and walkways.
• Spread ice melt and sand on icy areas.
• Dig out signs, ski racks, trash cans, benches and other objects.
• Report safety hazards and be punctual for shifts.
• Be available a minimum of 3 on-call shifts per week.
