Job summary

Marquette Mountain Resort is seeking a Groomer for the upcoming ski season. The role involves operating grooming equipment to prepare the slopes, inspecting machines, and performing routine maintenance in all weather conditions.

This seasonal, full-time position runs from October through April, with duties including snow removal, safety checks, and supporting a high-quality skiing experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outdoor work in winter conditions for extended hours.
• Must read, write, speak English fluently under all conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate tracked grooming equipment on ski trails to prepare the skiing surface.
• Perform grooming machinery inspections before and after use and maintain equipment.
• Assist with snow removal and related outdoor duties as needed.
• Report equipment condition and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Work in extreme weather during early morning or late evening hours.
