Job summary

The Grounds Guys, a Neighborly Company, is seeking a Seasonal Snow Equipment Operator to join our maintenance team. You will handle front-line snow and ice management tasks and support landscaping duties as needed, in outdoor, physically demanding conditions.

You will be part of a growing team with opportunities to advance as the company expands, and you will work closely with supervisors to meet customer service goals and maintain high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.
• Ability to run heavy equipment safely in tight areas.
• Willing to complete training within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Front-Line Employee – you’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.
• The team performs basic tasks related to snow & ice management at high levels of quality and service delivery, including mowing, string trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, pruning and edging.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.
• You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Team Member

• Front-Line Employee –
  • You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.

How We Measure Success

• Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your Supervisory team.
• Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
• Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all the above possible.

Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Member

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.

• Ability to run heavy equipment safely in tight areas.

• If you don’t already have experience, you must be willing to complete training within 1 month.

In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $XX.XX to $XX.XX and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional.

$18-30 per hour plus snow bonus
