Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Direct-to-Home Smart Home Pros for a seasonal role starting summer 2026. The position requires 100% travel and may involve temporary relocation across the summer.

Qualifications

• We hire for attitude and train for skill.
• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation; must live within 20 miles of the city.
• Willingness to travel 100% and may relocate temporarily for summer season.

Responsibilities

• Earn piece-rate pay and enjoy an unlimited commission plan.
• Become an expert on smart home technology by training on industry-leading products.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology in customer homes.
• Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operating instructions to customers.
• Manage inventory and assets with a business-owner mentality.
• Leverage service and installation appointments into leads and revenue.
