Job summary

Ski Butlers is seeking a Ski Valet Technician to serve guests at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This on-site role supports hotel guests with ski service, equipment storage, and seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Expect weekend/holiday work, with shifts split for morning and evening. A hospitality background is helpful, though not required, and the team emphasizes service, collaboration, and a friendly, guest-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Ski Butlers and Edgewood brand standards through exceptional customer service while meeting our Key Customer Requirements: On Time - arriving within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time; Communication - setting clear expectations around the entire scope of service; Equipment - choosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and current conditions at the resort
• Provide timely, accurate placement and retrieval of guest's skis and other related stored equipment
• Support: assist guests with fitting and adjusting Ski Butlers equipment as needed
• Pickup: All scheduled returns are brought back to the shop, sanitized, re-stickered and tuned for their next use
• Assist guests with relevant information regarding resort operations, meeting areas, on-site hotel amenities, transportation and local mountain town knowledge
• Setting up the next shift and future team members for success
• Enhance the overall skier experience
• Basic ski/snowboard tuning, waxing and general equipment maintenance
• Making/Answering customer phone calls and face-to-face questions with a positive and inviting tone of voice
• Taking reservations and issuing refunds
• Anticipating guest needs
• Re-stock amenities
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
