Job summary

Brighton Ski Resort is seeking experienced patrollers for the 2026/2027 season to monitor over 1000 skiable acres and ensure guest safety across diverse terrain in the Wasatch Mountains.

Responsibilities include identifying hazards, educating guests on safety, handling difficult situations with calm professionalism, and assisting with opening/closing terrain, dispatch, avalanche mitigation, and first aid as needed.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Current EMT or OEC medical certification.
• Intermediate+ skiing or snowboarding level and pass a proficiency test.
• Passion for guest service.
• Able to remain calm, cool and collected under pressure.
• Flexible availability during the ski season (including weekends, evenings and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly and welcoming face for guests from across the globe.
• Identify and mark on mountain hazards, educate guests in regards to safe skiing & riding etiquette, and assist with event & race safety.
• Take pride and a sense of responsibility in the safe use and access of Brighton terrain.
• Comfortable with confrontation and able to address guests involved in potentially dangerous behavior.
• Assist with opening/closing terrain, dispatch duties, avalanche mitigation, and first aid needs.
