Job summary

Vail Resorts in Kentucky is hiring Lift Operator for the 2026/2027 winter season. Starting wage is $20.00/hour; both full-time and part-time hours are available. You will monitor safety, load/unload lifts, and provide friendly guest service across premier mountain terrain.

No experience is required; training is provided. You must work outdoors in all weather, be able to lift up to 40 lbs, and be flexible for weekends/holidays. Employee perks include free passes and discounts.

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and assist guests safely.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor passenger safety while loading/unloading lifts.
• Operate lifts to maximize chair capacity per guidelines and reports.
• Notify maintenance/dispatch of repairs or issues.
• Learn proper lift equipment operation with Lift Maintenance.
• Implement emergency procedures as required and contact Patrol.
• Prepare lift maze daily and maintain a safe work area.
