Job summary

Brobston Group LLC is seeking a Seasonal Shipping Temp to process and prepare outbound orders, ensure compliance with carrier and customer requirements, and coordinate international shipments. The role supports daily shipping operations and collaborates with multiple departments to maintain efficiency.

Responsibilities include documentation submission, carrier coordination, packing, labeling, and station maintenance.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills; detail- and multi-task-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat; RF scanning experience helpful
• Knowledge of international shipment documentation and customer requirements

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare outbound product for shipment using designated shipping methods
• Prepare and submit export documentation electronically to AES Direct for international shipments
• Use Pitney Bowes and QAD for shipping, receiving, picking and verifying
• Verify store and invoice information prior to packaging and inform management of incomplete orders
• Schedule carrier pickups (e.g., Brinks, Malca Amit, Dunbar) and print end-of-day reports
• Pack and label contractor orders and repairs; transport shipments to the loading dock
• Maintain organized shipping stations and sufficient inventory of shipping supplies
• Assist with picking, verifying and other departmental tasks as needed

The role handles documentation for domestic and international shipments, maintains shipping stations and supplies, and coordinates carrier pickups and end-of-day shipment procedures. This temporary role supports daily shipping operations and assists other departments as needed.
