Job summary

GDM Seeds is seeking a temporary seasonal seed research assistant to participate in operational and testing activities at inbred and hybrid research sites.

You will assist with seed packaging, planting, pollinating, note taking, harvest, shelling, and field experiments such as planting, scouting, and weed control. The role requires flexibility to work Monday–Saturday and outdoor conditions; you must be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
• Minors under 18 require an employment certificate.
• Willingness to lift up to 25 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in seed packaging, planting, pollinating, note taking, harvest, and shelling.
• Participate in field experiment activities which includes planting, scouting, and weed control.
• Other duties as assigned
