Job summary

Kohanaiki is accepting applications for a Temp. FT Security Officer to safeguard the Kohanaiki Club, its members and guests, and the beach park. The role includes entry control, beach security and rover duties; shifts run 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am.

This 24-hour post requires professionalism and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies, with training and strict safety practice adherence to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Guard Card certification required.
• Experience in security/loss prevention (2 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the property to ensure security.
• Serve as steward and ambassador of Kohanaiki values.
• Communicate with members, guests, colleagues and public.
• Inspect property areas for safety and security.
• Respond to emergency calls calmly and efficiently.

Skills

Valid U.S. Driver’s License
