Job summary

School District 27J is seeking a groundskeeper to care for district property, including school grounds, athletic fields and parking areas. You will mow, trim, remove trash, perform snow removal, and handle related grounds maintenance tasks to keep facilities safe and presentable.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly and 100+ lb occasionally, and the ability to pass a post‑offer physical and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a post offer, pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform trash removal throughout the district.
• Maintain athletic fields and tracks.
• Mow the grounds, including edging and cutting of weeds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
