Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is hiring an entry-level Sample Dispoal Technician to support our sample prep and receipt team in Barberton, OH. This temporary, seasonal role offers hands-on experience and exposure to lab operations.

The role involves preparing and distributing samples, following safety procedures, and entering data into the LIMS system, with a 1st shift schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $18 to $19 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to climb a step stool.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for processing.
• Distribute samples to different departments as appropriate.
• Follow strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Store, restock, and shelve samples as necessary.
• Ensure that the work area is clean and organized.
• Enter records in the LIMS system.
• Assist sample receiving group with unpacking coolers and labeling samples.
• Assist and oversee all aspects of storing, distributing, logging, and disposing samples.
