Job summary

David Yurman in St. Louis is seeking an Operations Support team member to provide administrative and logistical support for Retail Store Operations Staff.

The role runs from late September 2026 to January 2027 with non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Key duties include POS sales entry, handling calls, assisting on the sales floor, maintaining visual standards, packing client orders, inventorying supplies, restocking packaging and stationery, and supporting inventory

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in an operational role in a customer service environment; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enters sales at POS.
• Answers and properly directs all incoming calls.
• Assists on the sales floor when all tasks are completed or when necessary to satisfy clients’ needs.
• Maintains visual merchandising and housekeeping standards reflecting current guidelines.
• Assists in wrapping client packages.
• Assists with cleaning of client jewelry.
• Restocks store packaging materials (bags, boxes, pouches, ribbon, folders).
• Restocks store stationery (POS paper, repair forms, receipt envelopes).
• Unwraps David Yurman bags for easy access.
• Assembles DY Pocket Folders.
• Packages and ships client packages.
• Inventorying office supply needs.
• Inventorying packaging needs.
• Inventorying stationery needs.
• Identifying client jewelry repairs.
• Maintains a clean jewelry display area.
• Organizes understock.
• Performs Inventory Serial Case Audits.

The St. Louis Operations Support provides administrative and logistical support for the Retail Store Operations Staff.

The role is expected to start in or around late September 2026 and end by January 2027. Flexibility needed to work non-traditional hours, especially nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Enters sales at POS.


• Answers and properly directs all incoming calls.


• Assists on the sales floor when all tasks are completed or when necessary in order to satisfy clients’ needs.


• Maintains consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards reflecting current visual guidelines and priorities at all times.


• Assists Sales and Operations team wrap client packages.


• Assists Sales and Operations team with the cleaning of client jewelry.


• Assists the Operations team with the restocking of store packaging. (Bags, Boxes, Pouches, Ribbon, Folders).


• Assists the Operations team with the restocking of store stationary. (POS Paper, Repair Forms, Receipt Envelopes).


• Assists the Operations team with the unwrapping of David Yurman Bags for easy access.


• Assists the Operations team with the putting together of DY Pocket Folders.


• Assists Operations team package and ship client packages.


• Assists Operations team in inventorying office supply needs.


• Assists Operations team in inventorying packaging needs.


• Assists Operations team in inventorying stationary needs.


• Assists Operations team identify client jewelry repairs.


• Assists store in maintaining a clean case line.


• Assists Sales and Operations team organize understock.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e. on the sales floor, operations,).

Expected base pay for the role is $20.00 - $23.00/hour.
