Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store team member to greet customers, understand needs, and recommend products. You will promote store events and handle transactions with friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, resolving concerns, and collaborating with the team to reach store goals. This hourly role offers growth and a dynamic retail experience at Five Below.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (computers, cash registers, handheld devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Understand and meet customer needs: assess needs, share product knowledge, offer recommendations and direct to merchandise.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management about restocking and feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals through collaboration.
