Job summary

Coastal Farm is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for a 120-day assignment. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and support store operations including merchandising, signing, pricing, and POS tasks.

You will assist in housekeeping, freight processing, and loss prevention, while maintaining high product knowledge and adherence to company policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and pride in keeping the sales floor inviting.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shifting priorities.
• Familiar with operating a computer system and email.
• Familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Constant radio communication with all associates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning – such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
