Job summary

Busy Beaver Building Centers, Inc. seeks a Seasonal Specialist to lead sales and customer engagement in the Lawn & Garden and Seasonal departments.

Promote seasonal plants, outdoor power equipment, and related merchandise to grow sales and build customer relationships. You will work with the General Manager and Merchandising to implement seasonal programs, train associates, and maintain high presentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience in seasonal or lawn/garden is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of seasonal products and outdoor equipment.
• Experience in customer sales and engagement is a plus.
• Ability to train and develop associates.

Responsibilities

• Support management in customer engagement strategies to meet sales goals.
• Execute sales initiatives within Lawn & Garden and Seasonal departments.
• Establish and grow relationships with customers and local businesses.
• Promote special-order sales and cross-merchandise add-on items.
• Lead by example in customer engagement in the Seasonal department.
• Manage quotes and estimates for customers.
• Implement merchandising and selling best practices for seasonal products.
• Work with Merchandising to ensure programs are executed and presented well.
• Ensure displays are engaging and sales-driven; maintain safety standards.
