Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service while delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is available for peak seasonal days, able to stand for long periods, and ready to help meet sales and inventory goals. Previous retail or guest service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Support the overall shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
