Five Below is hiring part-time Seasonal Sales Associates for the holiday season (October through January). You’ll deliver outstanding customer service, keep merchandise stocked, and ensure seamless checkout experiences.

The role emphasizes energy, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, guiding product choices, promoting promotions, and collaborating with the team to hit store goals.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct to merchandise, offer recommendations, and engage in suggestive selling while checking stock.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about events, promotions, and activities to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address issues and offer alternatives, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Inform management about restocking, service requirements and customer feedback.
