We are seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support our store team during peak sales periods. Under guidance and supervision, you will focus on delivering outstanding guest service, supporting store operations, and contributing to sales initiatives aligned with GameStop's buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model, known as the Circle of Life. The role requires a focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and availability during peak seasons.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with gaming needs, recommending products, and expressing gratitude.
2. Support the shopping environment, including visual presentation and store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
3. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
4. Assist with stocking and restocking merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and organized.
5. Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
6. Address customer questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
7. Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including safety awareness.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
3. Retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.

KEY JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
2. Ability to follow instructions in various formats.
3. Outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
4. Effective verbal communication and listening skills, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
