Position: Seasonal Sales Associate

Working under guidance and supervision, the Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team on a short-term basis by delivering outstanding guest service and supporting sales activities, including buy, sell, trade, and reservations, known as the Circle of Life. The role involves participating in daily store operations during peak sales days, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate prioritizes customer satisfaction and must be available during peak seasonal days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with gaming needs, recommending products, and expressing gratitude.
2. Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to sales initiatives during the holiday season.
3. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
4. Assist in stocking merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and organized.
5. Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
6. Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when necessary.
7. Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety protocols.
8. Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
3. Retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
