Job summary

World Market is hiring for seasonal team members in White Marsh, Maryland. You will assist customers, handle checkout and buy online pickup orders, and help keep the floor stocked and merchandised. The role emphasizes a collaborative, friendly environment and a willingness to learn.

Hourly pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.00. Seasonal associates receive paid sick leave accrual, with additional benefits possible if regular employment follows the season. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

What You’ll Do

• Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect “anything.”
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Participate in processing freight and truck unload as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.

Experience & Skills You’ll Bring

• A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
• Retail experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication & time management skills.
• Ability to initiate a conversation.

Minimum Age and Lifting Requirement

Minimum Age 16 years. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Hourly Pay Range and Benefits

Hourly Pay Range is $15.50-$16.00 Seasonal associates are eligible for paid sick leave accrual upon hire. If offered regular employment at the end of the seasonal period, additional benefits are available dependent upon classification. Applications for this role are accepted on an ongoing basis.
