Job summary

World Market is seeking friendly, seasonally hired associates to deliver memorable shopping experiences. You will help customers find products, share product knowledge, and keep the store lively and welcoming.

In addition to friendly teamwork and strong communication skills, you should be able to handle checkout duties and assist with stock, signage, and safety. This is a part-time seasonal role with competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Minimum age 16 years.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Hourly pay range is $16.50-$17.00.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and make the shopping experience fun and memorable.
• Checkout customers in store and process buy online pickup in store orders.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and floor replenishment standards.
• Assist with freight processing and truck unload as needed.

What You'll Do

• You will be responsible for a variety of duties including customer service and making the shopping experience fun and memorable for our customer: Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect "anything."
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Participate in processing freight and truck unload as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.
