Join the loudest store in the mall! We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be a huge part of our success by providing the best customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You will share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and help merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, all while staying hyper‑focused on the in‑store experience.

What You’ll Do

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, using your product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas meet visual standards.
• Work the register, use your fandom knowledge to process sales transactions, and drive add‑on sales with benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup. Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and respective HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent misuse of store operations and maintain security.
• Support the maintenance of the store by keeping the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Communicate and work as a team to get the job done and maintain team spirit.
• Perform any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience working in a retail environment. A passion for music and pop culture is a plus.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product with approved equipment, and pack and unpack boxes of merchandise that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

$17.95 - $18.45 an hour

Pay may vary based on individual factors such as education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience.
