Job Overview

The Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience within multiple-businesses (retail, rental, custom, and Omni-channel) within a store location. To be successful in this role, the Consultant needs to support and positively impact a culture of customer obsession by being customer-ready and delivering a world-class experience each day. The Consultant is expected to engage as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results. They must navigate change effectively to adapt to new programs and achieve outcomes. Additionally, the Consultant will contribute to a healthy culture by working well with colleagues at all levels and fostering a positive work environment.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate the benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals, as trained by management and described in corporate training materials.
• Encourage and participate in team selling.
• Build relationships with customers from greeting to post-sale contact.
• Monitor and positively impact store sales volume and metrics goals. Meet personal sales goals while maintaining high sales quality.
• Use tailors for alteration fittings when possible; otherwise, accurately fit customers and recommend alterations.
• Assist in receiving shipments, maintaining a clean and organized store based on merchandising standards.
• Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Help monitor store security, report or document damaged or missing products.
• Participate in merchandise stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Work as part of a team, supporting store goals and collaborating effectively.
• Maintain a workplace free of harassment and discrimination, adhering to company policies and reporting concerns.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of the shift, frequently bend, squat, and twist. Lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.
