Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the PCU. The 28-bed unit operates with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for high-acuity patients post-cardiac surgery and other complex conditions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role in an acute care setting.
• RN license in state; BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety.
