Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a registered nurse to join its Nursing Services team. The RN will provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients, plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care, and maintain accurate documentation while following standards.

Candidates must hold Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and have at least two years of hospital/acute care experience; NIHSS training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Must have TWO current years of RN experience in a hospital / acute care setting.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems.
• The RN has a responsibility to act as an educator to their peers, patients, and their families.

Responsibilities

• RN plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Provide patient-centered care with a holistic view across multiple dimensions.
• Document accurately and ensure supplies; follow hospital standards and procedures.
• Maintain current credentials and support Jupiter Medical Center's mission and vision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
