Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Houghton seeks an experienced RN for a seasonal PACU position on the day shift in Tucson. The role requires 2+ years in PACU within the last year and emphasizes patient-centered care, rapid assessment, and close collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PACU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes.
• Administer prescribed meds and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-op care and discharge instructions.
