Job Description - Seasonal RN- Main Operating Room- Days (250001BA)

InterHealth Medical Staffing Solutions, a for-profit division of Tampa General Hospital, is seeking experienced RNs for 13-week contracts in the Main Operating Room. Tampa General is a comprehensive medical facility in Florida, affiliated with USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, serving as the primary teaching hospital.

We offer higher base pay, shift differentials, benefits, and opportunities for full-time or part-time conversion and contract extensions. Applicants must have at least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience and be deemed competent to work independently.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing nursing care in the OR and perioperative services for all patient populations, following established policies and guidelines.
2. Serving as circulating or scrub nurse during operative and invasive procedures, in accordance with scope of practice and credentials.
3. Performing duties aligned with Tampa General's mission and quality principles, including assisting in robotic and general surgery cases.

Shift differential of 15% over hourly rate applies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Florida RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative RN experience and CNOR certification.
• Trauma/Robotic experience strongly preferred.
