Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 16-week seasonal contract on the Float Team at the Venice Campus. You will deliver professional nursing care during the daytime shift, guided by our nursing practice model and ANA standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a BSN within the specified timeframe, two years of nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR with FL RN license; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification are required or soon after hire.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program; BSN required within timeframe per policy.
Two years of relevant nursing experience.
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days.
ACLS within six months of hire.
NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire.
Basic computer applications proficiency.
BLS/CPR certification and FL RN license.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients and families on the Float Team in an acute clinical setting.
Follow the nursing practice model and ANA Standards of Professional Practice.
