Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama seeks experienced Registered Nurses for a 12-week seasonal contract in specialty areas. Night shifts run 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with assignments in Critical Care, ICU, Progressive Care, Cardiac Stepdown, and Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in Medical/Surgical Unit and guide patient/family teaching.
• Directly responsible and accountable for care given to assigned patients.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition, tests, and treatment responses.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment.
