Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking skilled registered nurses to provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical setting, guided by the SMHCS nursing practice model and ANA Standards of Practice.

Positions are 16-week contracts with start dates available in November 2026, December 2026, or January 4, 2027, ending in March/April 2027; a 14-week option begins January 18, 2027 ending April 25, 2027. BSN and Florida RN license required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
• For new hires after 2012, BSN is required within specified timeframe as outlined in policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment.
• Follow SMHCS nursing professional practice model and ANA Standards of Practice.
