Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical setting, guided by the nursing practice model and ANA standards.

The 16-week contract may start in November 2026, December 2026, or January 4, 2027, with contracts ending in March or April 2027; a 14-week option starting January 18, 2027 is also available through April 25, 2027.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required within specified timeframe for new hires after 2012.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment.
• Adhere to ANA Standards of Professional Practice and nursing practice model.
