Job summary

City Center Rink is seeking a part-time seasonal Assistant Manager for the Providence downtown rink. The role leads social media and sales, oversees operations, and acts as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts.

You will supervise seasonal staff, coordinate events, balance cash, and ensure guest satisfaction while supporting safety and program delivery through the fall and winter seasons.

Position starts September 2026; part-time up to 28 hours weekly with peak-season hours as approved.

Qualifications

• Experience creating social media content and supporting digital marketing is preferred.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with supervisory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty for ice skating, bumper car operations, rentals, events, and programs.
• Open/close facility; complete cash-handling, safety, and closing checklists.
• Supervise seasonal staff and assign work areas; address guestService issues.
• Balance cash drawers and review POS records; document discrepancies.
• Coordinate event setup/breakdown with partners and staff.
• Maintain leadership of social media and sales team; manage content calendar.
