Job summary

Ross-Simons Jewelers in Cranston, RI is seeking a Seasonal Returns Associate to handle incoming returned jewelry and process credits or exchanges according to policy. The role requires careful verification of orders, item condition checks, and accurate data entry.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with optional Saturdays, up to 40 hours, casual dress, and a fast-paced holiday season environment. Strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High School degree or equivalent.
• Must have intermediate computer and data entry skills.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisory staff.
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
• Fluent communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work overtime if should that be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Processing of Credits and/or Exchanges to customer’s account accordingly.
• Confirm that customer order information matches item(s) being returned, and that item is being returned within appropriate timeline.
• Inspect returned merchandise, checking for quality and condition of product, to determine next steps for item(s).
• Review Order notes for relevant return information and execute accordingly.
• Route returned product to the appropriate location(s).
• Document steps taken on Return to appropriate customer account.
• Assist in other areas of the operations to meet customer expectations and company service levels as needed. This may involve the actual receipt and opening of return packages from customers.
• Meet/Exceed individual productivity, adherence, and quality standards as set by department leads.
• Always maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work well with and show respect for other team members.
• The ability to stay focused and remain on task in a fast-paced environment during our busiest time of the year!
• Other responsibilities may be required to meet team goals.

Seasonal Returns Associate

Ross-Simons Jewelers, a division of Luxury Brand Holdings, is seeking a Seasonal Returns Associate based in our Cranston, RI office. As a Returns Associate, you will be responsible for receiving jewelry items that our customers have sent back for return and processing either a credit or an exchange based on the customer’s request. Efficient and accurate processing of these customer returns along with adherence to Ross-Simon’s Returns Policies are a must. If you have intermediate computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to listen closely and follow directions, we would like to hear from you!!
