Job summary

Cavender’s in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, and guiding them to products that meet their requirements. You will maintain product knowledge and use effective selling techniques to support store goals.

You’ll help keep the sales floor clean and organized, assist with merchandising and stocking, and work with the team to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers and engaging with them throughout their shopping experience.
• Identify customer needs, recommend products, and provide knowledgeable, personalized service.
• Use selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, programs, and current Western/workwear trends.
• Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and locating merchandise in-store.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor through stocking and housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed, signed, stocked, and located per company standards.
• Remain attentive to store safety and report concerns to management.
• Report to work on time and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with merchandising updates, price changes, inventory projects, and other tasks.
• Any other duties as assigned.
